What is it with me and Vampires? Okay new to this blog thing, I figured why not. I need an outlet to vent about my recent obsession with Sexy, non hurting humans on purpose Vampires. All my life I have been scared of things unseen, things that are unreal or should I say things of the "Paranormal" (hope I spelled that right). You couldn't pay me when I was a teenager to read, see a movie or to watch a television program that involved ghost, witches, monsters, demons and vampires. It took me years to watch the Micheal Jackson (RIP) music Video "Thriller" all the way through. Now that I'm an adult things of that nature still scare the shit out of me is some form, fit or fashion. Except, (I'm sure whoever is reading this have guessed) "The Twilight Saga", yes I'm a Twi-hard, a Twi-mom or whatever it is you call women over 40 whose goo, goo crazy over the series.
I'm 42, a wife and mother of 3 who was in line at midnight on a weekday mind you, waiting to see the Twilight Saga Eclispe with my husband in tow. He thought I'd lost my mind. After the movie he looked at me laughed and said, "The wolves were cool, but your to old for this." Yes I love Edward Cullen, (17 yr old Edward Cullen technically he's 109) but you get what I'm saying. Yes I've have all 4 books on my iPod and I'm the owner of all 3 movies and I can't wait until November 18, 2011 for Breaking Dawn part one. So in the mean time I have been searching for the next Vampire novel, book, short story or what have you to take me away . I've read a couple, some ok, some not ok , I dvr the Vampire Diaries tried to read the books that are intened for 12 to 14 yr old girls. I'm about to start, "The Black Dagger Brotherhood" Series, so far so good. I can't wait to see how it goes. I can say, the character "Wrath" in the first book is pushing Edward slowly out of my mind. I think I'm in love. Wink, wink!
